Ukraine has updated the list of countries in the "red" and "green" zones

2020-08-15  Ukraine has updated the list of countries in the "red" and "green" zones

On August 14 the Ministry of Health published the updated list of countries in the "red" and "green" zones, which determines the need for self-isolation or testing after returning from abroad.

According to the updated information, the list of resort countries receiving Ukrainians has not changed compared to the last revision. Albania, Bulgaria and Montenegro remained "red", while Turkey, Egypt and Croatia remained green.

In the "green" list of Ukraine, among other states - Sweden, Czech Republic, Portugal, Belarus, Austria, Canada, Great Britain, Lithuania, Georgia and Italy. "Red" countries - Russia, Israel, Spain, Belgium, the USA, Mexico. The complete list of states is available below.

Ukraine determines the "red list" countries by the number of new cases per 100,000 population over the past 14 days. If their index exceeds the similar level in Ukraine - the country is listed as the "red" zone. It also concerns the countries where the number of new infected people for the past 14 days exceeds by 30% the number of cases for the previous 2 weeks.

People who arrive in Ukraine from the "red zone" are required to pass a PCR test within 24 hours or to stay self-isolated for 14 days. They also can pass the test abroad, but it must be done no less than in 48 hours before crossing the border.

Foreigners must also have a health insurance policy upon entry.
